What to do in Belgrade Belgrade, as one of the most vibrant cities in the Balkan region, has a lot to offer when it comes both to culture and entertainment. Visiting the fortress Kalemegdan and watching the rivers' confluence from there is a must for every visitor. Moreover, the Zemun – historically the Austrian part of the city, offers restaurants and bars alongside the Danube river. The weather in Belgrade is perfect in June, so one can enjoy walks on the river island – Ada, a popular relaxation spot. Apart from the National Museum, in the heart of the city, one can visit the Ethnographic Museum, and the Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences. Slightly further away, but definitely worth visiting is the Museum of the History of Yugoslavia. An urban quarter, at the city wharf is very popular for its restaurants, bars and raft-clubs. More about this and other popular locations in Belgrade you can find on the following link: http://stillinbelgrade.com/the-hipster-guide-to-belgrade/ There are guided tours over the city, such as: - Belgrade mystery walking tour: https://belgradefreetour.com/other-tours/mysterious-belgrade-walking-tour/ - Bike tours: https://ibikebelgrade.com - Street art tours: http://streetuptours.com Finally, you can consider relaxing in Belgrade’s Botanical garden.
