It is not necessary to be a resident of one of the regions that the Network covers, you could become a member regardless of your current country of residence or your country of origin. The EENPS is open and its main purpose is to provide a platform for bringing researchers from all over the world and in that way to remove any barriers that might exist due to political, historical or geographic biases. The EENPS mission is to promote new and lasting research collaboration among philosophers of science in the region and with international partners, and support efforts that can lead to publications in high ranking international journals.
The membership is free, and there are many benefits to becoming a member.
You will be able to know about many very interesting local and regional events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences, you will be updated on the international and regional funding opportunities and be able to take part in collaborations and projects that are run regionally and locally as well as internationally. This will allow you to find the collaboration partners much easier, to learn about the funding and publication opportunities much faster and most importantly to have a network of peers who could help you with your own project or publication by providing comments and valuable experience.
